Hi, I’m D.J. Burr, LPC
a licensed therapist providing virtual therapy to Oregon residents. My focus is helping adults heal from trauma, sex addiction, codependency, and the compulsive patterns that often live alongside them.
I'm a Black, LGBTQ+ affirming therapist serving Oregon clients across the state. With over 16 years of clinical experience, I'm a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and trained in EMDR. I'm licensed in Oregon (C6609) and provide virtual therapy to adults across the state.

Breaking free from people-pleasing, rescuing, and the dysfunctional relationship with yourself that fuels them. Building a secure sense of who you are.
Trauma & PTSD
EMDR and trauma-informed therapy for adults dealing with the trauma underneath addiction, anxiety, and depression. This includes complex PTSD, cultural and racialized trauma, and betrayal trauma.
A Note on Private Pay
I don't take insurance, and I provide monthly superbills you can submit to your insurance for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Private pay means we have the privacy and the time to do this work without an insurance company dictating diagnosis, session length, or how long your treatment lasts. For sensitive issues like the ones I treat, that protection matters.
