Hi, I’m D.J. Burr,
a licensed therapist providing virtual therapy to Georgia residents. My focus is helping adults heal from trauma, sex addiction, codependency, and the compulsive patterns that often live alongside them.
I'm a Black therapist with deep roots in this state. I'm a graduate of Argosy University in Atlanta and Kennesaw State, which means I understand the cultural landscape of the South and the specific weight Georgia clients carry when seeking help for sensitive issues. A Note on Private Pay
I don't take insurance, and I provide monthly superbills you can submit to your insurance for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Private pay means we have the privacy and the time to do this work without an insurance company dictating diagnosis, session length, or how long your treatment lasts. For sensitive issues like the ones I treat, that protection matters.
