Welcome

My name is D.J., and I am a male survivor. I have been in recovery for over eight years. My healing journey started when I entered recovery for various addiction issues. Only once I was able to get clarity about my addiction, I came to understand that the "relationship" I had when I was 16 years old was, in fact, abuse. I was subsequently harmed by others as a result of the early childhood abuse.

To aid in my healing, I attend 12-step programs, and in 2019 I started a peer-led support group for male survivors in the Pacific NW. We were meeting in person, but due to Covid, we meet on Zoom. Currently, our small group meets monthly on a Saturday.  We are now open to new members 18 yrs and older who identify as a male* survivor of sexual abuse or assault. *All men, including heterosexual, cisgender, gay, bi, queer, transgender, and gender fluid, are welcome.

Please send me a brief intro and the best way to contact you to be considered for admittance to our group, and I will be in touch.

May you find the healing space you need.

D.J.
