Facing Addiction in the Family - a weekly psycho-educational group for friends and family members who are affected by a loved one's addiction(drugs, alcohol, sex, gambling, etc.).
Group members will process and explore the impact of addiction on themselves. Participants will learn about the disease of addiction; examine current coping strategies; learn more effective coping tools to include mindfulness, boundary setting, detaching with love, and much more! Participants are encouraged to share their experience, strength, and hope, and to be open to constructive feedback and support.
First group session: Wed April 4th, 6-8pm; will meet weekly on Wednesdays. Cost: $65 per session, initial three-month commitment required (reduced rate may be available to those who qualify)
