I am a licensed mental health counselor(LMHC 60237239)in Seattle, Washington; a National Certified Counselor (NCC 250998); and Specialist in Problematic Sexual Behavior. I identify as a Recovery Coach and group facilitator as well. I practice at ABLE Counseling Services, LLC, located in the Seattle neighborhood of Ballard.
I'm originally from Marietta, GA. I moved to Seattle over seven years ago because of the "weather." Every one laughs when I say that, but it's true! Moving to Seattle changed my life for the better and I am forever grateful to this city and its people.
I devote the majority of my working hours helping individuals whom are struggling in addiction or thriving in recovery. I am a person in long-term recovery and I find it rewarding, challenging and inspiring to work with people each week as they find their way to the road of recovery. I am grateful for every opportunity I receive to witness such courage, strength and hope.
In my off time, I work on craft projects, write, watch tons of movies, and spend quality time with loved ones. I also make time to participate in community activities like the Eat Run Hope run/walk, as well as Seattle AIDS Walk. Two years ago I got to meet the Mayor of Seattle and raised over $1000 for HIV/AIDS research! I love Seattle.
Thank you for taking the time to read my page. I hope to see you soon.
