D.J. Burr, MA, LMHC, S-PSB

I am a licensed mental health counselor(LMHC 60237239)in Seattle, Washington, a specialist in problematic sexual behavior, group facilitator, author, and podcast host. My practice is called ABLE Counseling Services, LLC, located in the Seattle neighborhood of Ballard.
I'm originally from Marietta, GA. I moved to Seattle over nine years ago because of the "weather." Every one laughs when I say that, but it's true! Moving to Seattle changed my life for the better and I am forever grateful to this city and its people.
I devote the majority of my working hours helping individuals whom are struggling in addiction or thriving in recovery. I am a person in long-term recovery and I find it rewarding, challenging and inspiring to work with people each week as they find their way to the road of recovery. I am grateful for every opportunity I receive to witness such courage, strength and hope.
In my off time, I work on craft projects, write, watch tons of movies, and spend quality time with loved ones. I also make time to participate in community activities like the Eat Run Hope run/walk, as well as Seattle AIDS Walk. I love Seattle.
Thank you for taking the time to read my page. I hope to see you soon.
Sincerely,
D.J. Burr
